THE POWER OF PRAYER

  • "Our Father in heaven,
  •  hallowed be your name.
  • Your kingdom come,
  • your will be done,
  • on earth as it is in heaven.
  • Give us this day our daily bread,
  • and forgive us our debts,
  • as we also have forgiven our debtors.
  • And lead us not into temptation,
  • but deliver us from evil."
  • For thine is the kingdom,
  • and the power,
  • and the glory,
  • for ever and ever
  • Amen.

The prayer as it occurs in
Matthew 6:9–13

A DIFFERENT LOOK AT THE LORD'S PRAYER

A- "Hallowed be thy name"
B- "Thy kingdom come"
C- "thy will be done"
D- "Give us this day our daily bread"
E- "And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us"
F- "And lead us not into temptation"
G- "But deliver us from evil"
H- "For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen"

A- "Hallowed be thy name"
explains this phrase as a petition that people may look upon God's name (which is his word, his presence) as holy, as something that inspires awe and reverence, and that they may not trivialize it by making God a tool for their purposes, to put others down or make themselves feel safe. He sums up the meaning of the phrase by saying: "Understand what you're talking about when you're talking about God, this is serious, this is the most wonderful and frightening reality that we could imagine, more wonderful and frightening than we can imagine.
B- "Thy kingdom come"
The request for God's kingdom to come is commonly interpreted at the most literal level: as a reference to the belief, common at the time, that a Messiah figure would bring about a Kingdom of God. Traditionally the coming of God's Kingdom is seen as a divine gift to be prayed for, not a human achievement. This idea is frequently challenged by groups who believe that the Kingdom will come by the hands of those faithful who work for a better world. It is believed by these individuals that Jesus' commands to feed the hungry and clothe the needy are the Kingdom to which he was referring.
Yet, scripture teaches that the "Kingdom of God is within you" (Luke 17:21), suggesting a psychological or spiritual condition of the individual. By such an interpretation, the petition in the Lord's Prayer asks for this inner kingdom—that is, attainment of personal salvation, moral and psychological. Further, in referring to this condition as "Thy Kingdom," an implicit contrast is suggested between this and conditions of soul dominated by selfish and egoistic desires.
Finally, the phrase "the Kingdom of God" is used more-or-less interchangeably in the New Testament with "the reign of God". This suggests the petition is asking for a state of soul in which God reigns—i.e., a state of piety and humility, where one is directed by God, and does not rely on ones own devices, schemes, and imaginings (Cf. Proverbs 3:5). Conversely, the statements could easily be eschatological in nature; the petitioner is asking for the swift arrival of The Day of the Lord, a collective state of being in which all of Creation is completely under the control of God.
C- "thy will be done"
“Many people think our job is to get my afterlife destination taken care of, then tread water till we all get ejected and God comes back and torches this place. But Jesus never told anybody — neither his disciples nor us — to pray, 'Get me out of here so I can go up there.' His prayer was, 'Make up there come down here.' Make things down here run the way they do up there.” The request that “thy will be done” is God’s invitation to “join him in making things down here the way they are up there.” In other words, to make a Heaven on Earth.
D-"Give us this day our daily bread"
The more personal requests break from the similarity to the Kaddish. The first concerns daily bread. The meaning of the word normally translated as daily, πιούσιος epiousios, is obscure. The word is almost a hapax legomenon, occurring only in Luke and Matthew's versions of the Lord's Prayer. (It was once mistakenly thought to be found also in an Egyptian accounting book.). Etymologically epiousios seems to be related to the Greek words epi, meaning on, over, at, against and ousia, meaning substance. It is translated as supersubstantialem in the Vulgate (Matthew 6:11) and accordingly as supersubstantial in the Douay-Rheims Bible (Matthew 6:11). Early writers connected this to Eucharistic transubstantiation. Some modern Protestant scholars tend to reject this connection on the presumption that Eucharistic practice and the doctrine of transubstantiation both developed later than this writing. Epiousios can also be understood as existence, i.e., bread that was fundamental to survival (as in the Syriac Peshitta, where the line is translated "give us the bread of which we have need today."). In the era, bread was the most important food for survival. However, scholars of linguistics consider this rendering unlikely since it would violate standard rules of word formation. Koine Greek had several far more common terms for the same idea. Some interpret epiousios as meaning for tomorrow, as in the wording used by the Gospel of the Nazoraeans for the prayer. The common translation as "daily" is conveniently close in meaning to the other two possibilities as well. Those Christians who read the Lord's Prayer as eschatological view epiousios as referring to the second coming — reading for tomorrow (and bread) in a metaphorical sense. Most scholars disagree, particularly since Jesus is portrayed throughout Luke and Matthew as caring for everyday needs for his followers, particularly in the bread-related miracles that are recounted.
E-"And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us"
After the request for bread, Matthew and Luke diverge slightly. Matthew continues with a request for debts to be forgiven in the same manner as people forgive those who have debts against them. Luke, on the other hand, makes a similar request about sins being forgiven in the manner of debts being forgiven between people. The word "debts" (φειλήματα) does not necessarily mean financial obligations, as shown by the use of the verbal form of the same word (φείλετε) in passages such as Romans 13:8. In Aramaic the word for debt is also used to mean sin. This difference between Luke's and Matthew's wording could be explained by the original form of the prayer having been in Aramaic. The generally accepted interpretation is thus that the request is for forgiveness of sin, not of supposed loans granted by God. Asking for forgiveness from God was a staple of Jewish prayers.[ It was also considered proper for individuals to be forgiving of others, so the sentiment expressed in the prayer would have been a common one of the time.[
Anthony C. Deane, Canon of Worcester Cathedral, suggested that the choice of the word "φειλήματα" (debts), rather than "μαρτίας" (sins), indicated a reference to failures to use opportunities of doing good. He linked this with the parable of the sheep and the goats (also in Matthew's Gospel), in which the grounds for condemnation are not wrong-doing in the ordinary sense but failure to do right, missing opportunities for showing love to others (Matthew 25:31-46). "As we forgive...". Divergence between Matthew's "debts" and Luke's "trespasses" is relatively trivial compared to the impact of the second half of this statement. The verses immediately following the Lord's Prayer, Matthew 6:14-15, show Jesus teaching that the forgiveness of our sin/debt (by God) is contingent on how we forgive others. Later, Matthew elaborates with Jesus' parable of the unforgiving servant (Matthew 18:23-35). In this parable, forgiveness from the king (God) is conditional on the servant's forgiveness of a small debt owed to him.

F-"And lead us not into temptation"
Interpretations of the penultimate petition of the prayer — not to be led by God into peirasmos — vary considerably. The range of meanings of the Greek word "πειρασμός" (peirasmos) is illustrated in The New Testament Greek Lexicon. In different contexts it can mean temptation, testing, trial, experiment. Traditionally it has been translated "temptation" and, in spite of the statement in James 1:12-15 that God tests/tempts nobody, some see the petition in the Lord's Prayer as implying that God leads people to sin. There are generally two arguments for interpreting the word as meaning here a "test of character". First, it may be an eschatological appeal against unfavourable Last Judgment, a theory supported by the use of the word "peirasmos" in this sense in Revelation 3:10. The other argument is that it acts as a plea against hard tests described elsewhere in scripture, such as those of Job. It can also be read as: "LORD, do not let us be led (by ourselves, by others, by Satan) into temptations". Since it follows shortly after a plea for daily bread (i.e. material sustenance), it can be seen as referring to not being caught up in the material pleasures given. A similar phrase appears in Matthew 26:41 and Luke 22:40 in connection with the prayer of Jesus in Gethsemane.
G-"But deliver us from evil"
Translations and scholars are divided over whether the evil mentioned in the final petition refers to evil in general or the devil in particular. The original Greek, as well as the Latin version, could be either of neuter (evil in general) or masculine (the evil one) gender. In earlier parts of the Sermon on the Mount, in which Matthew's version of the prayer appears, the term is used to refer to general evil. Later parts of Matthew refer to the devil when discussing similar issues. However, the devil is never referred to as the evil one in any Aramaic sources. While John Calvin accepted the vagueness of the term's meaning, he considered that there is little real difference between the two interpretations, and that therefore the question is of no real consequence. Similar phrases are found in
John 17:15 and 2 Thessalonians 3:3
H "For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen"
The doxology of the prayer is not contained in Luke's version, nor is it present in the earliest manuscripts of Matthew, representative of the Alexandrian text, but is present in the manuscripts representative of the Byzantine text. It is thus absent in the oldest and best manuscripts of Matthew, and most scholars do not consider it part of the original text of Matthew. Modern translations generally omit it.
The first known use of the doxology, in a less lengthy form ("for yours is the power and the glory forever"),as a conclusion for the Lord's Prayer (in a version slightly different from that of Matthew) is in the Didache, 8:2. It has similarities with 1 Chronicles 29:11 - "Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all." In Orthodox Christianity and Byzantine Rite Eastern Catholic Churches, a similar doxology is sung within the context of the Divine Liturgy. Following the last line of the prayer, the priest sings "For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages". Latin Rite Roman Catholics, as well as some Lutherans,[36] do not use it when reciting the Lord's Prayer, but it has been included as an independent item, not as part of the Lord's Prayer, in the Roman Rite Mass. The Anglican Book of Common Prayer sometimes gives the Lord's Prayer with the doxology, sometimes without. Most Protestants attach it to the Lord's Prayer.

THE POWER OF PRAYER
The power of prayer should not be underestimated. James 5:16-18 declares, "…The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops." God most definitely listens to prayers, answers prayers, and moves in response to prayers.

Jesus taught, "…I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you" (Matthew 17:20). 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 tells us, "The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." The Bible urges us, "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints" (Ephesians 6:18).

Power Of Prayer - How do I tap into it?
The power of prayer is not the result of the person praying. Rather, the power resides in the God who is being prayed to. 1 John 5:14-15 tells us, "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of him." No matter the person praying, the passion behind the prayer, or the purpose of the prayer - God answers prayers that are in agreement with His will. His answers are not always yes, but are always in our best interest. When our desires line up with His will, we will come to understand that in time. When we pray passionately and purposefully, according to God's will, God responds powerfully!

We cannot access powerful prayer by using "magic formulas." Our prayers being answered is not based on the eloquence of our prayers. We don't have to use certain words or phrases to get God to answer our prayers. In fact, Jesus rebukes those who pray using repetitions, "And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him" (Matthew 6:7-8). Prayer is communicating with God. All you have to do is ask God for His help. Psalm 107:28-30 reminds us, "Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven." There is power in prayer!

Power Of Prayer - For what kind of things should I pray?
God's help through the power of prayer is available for all kinds of requests and issues. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." If you need an example of a prayer, read Matthew 6:9-13. These verses are known as the Lord's prayer. The Lord's prayer is not a prayer we are supposed to memorize and simply recite to God. It is only an example of how to pray and the things that should go into a prayer - worship, trust in God, requests, confession, protection, etc. Pray for these kinds of things, but speak to God using your own words.

The Word of God is full of accounts describing the power of prayer in various situations. The power of prayer has overcome enemies (Psalm 6:9-10), conquered death (2 Kings 4:3-36), brought healing (James 5:14-15), and defeated demons (Mark 9:29). God, through prayer, opens eyes, changes hearts, heals wounds, and grants wisdom (James 1:5). The power of prayer should never be underestimated because it draws on the glory and might of the infinitely powerful God of the universe! Daniel 4:35 proclaims, "All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him: 'What have you done?'"

THE FIVE FINGER PRAYER
PRAYER ACROSTIC
Having a personal prayer plan can enhance your prayer experience. In Matthew 6:9-13, Jesus teaches believers to pray in a certain way. A plan will provide direction and focus in your prayer life. Our desire should be to encounter the God who answers prayer. Believers should resist the temptation to allow this or any other plan to become a means to an end. Jesus warns against prayer being treated as simply a ritual or religious activity (see Matt. 6:7-8).
As you pray you can use the ACTS acrostic to guide your prayer time. These categories are broad enough to allow for adaptation to individual contexts. This acrostic contains the major elements given by Christ in the model prayer (see Matt. 6:9-13; Luke 11:1-4).
Adoration - Spend time praising the Lord and adoring Him for who he is (Matt. 6:9). Use Scripture to praise Him (see Pss. 103, 145, 150; Rev. 4:8; 5:12-14). Love and cherish His presence and allow Him to work in and through your life (see Matt. 22:32-34). Be still before Him and enjoy His presence (see Ps. 46:10). Use this time to allow God to speak to you through His Word and Spirit (see Pss. 40:1-3; 90:12-17). Praise the Lord by praying scripture or hymns back to Him (see Ps. 84; Rev. 4:8; 5:9-10, 12-13 and "Great is Thy Faithfulness").
Confession - Confession should be a part of your continual walk with Christ (see Matt. 6:9-13). Spend time asking Christ to search your heart for areas that displease Him (see Ps. 139:23-24). Allow God to cleanse your heart of any unconfessed sin (see Ps. 51:10-13). Be sure to spend time confessing and repenting of (turning away from) specific sins (see 1 John 1:9). Accept His forgiveness and cleansing (see Jer. 31:34).
Thanksgiving - Giving thanks for all things should be a part of our everyday lives as God's people (see Phil. 4:6-7). This includes thanking God for specific things such as blessings, people, open doors, guidance, etc. Also give thanks for His salvation and the privilege to serve such a wonderful Savior. Thank Him for his goodness, loving-kindness, and faithfulness (see Ps. 100:4-6).
Supplication - We are called as believers to intercessory prayer (see Matt. 6:9-13; Luke 18:1; Col. 4:2; 1 Tim. 2:1-4). Thus, we are to come before God on behalf of others (see Heb. 10:19-25; Rev. 1:4-6). Spend time praying for specific people, events, states, countries, missionaries, etc. (see Acts 12:5; Rom. 10:1). In addition, spend time praying for personal needs (see Matt. 6:11-13). Make prayer lists for your time of supplication. Be sure to include a place for answers to be recorded. Recorded answers can become items for praise and thanksgiving.

THE PRAYER GARDEN

 JESUS CHRIST
Entering the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus Christ said to His disciples, "Sit here while I go yonder and pray." Taking with Him Peter, James, and John, He went deep into the garden, and He began to be sorrowful and troubled. Then, He said to them, "My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here and watch with Me." And going a little farther, he fell on His face and prayed, "My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will but as Thou wilt."
Having prayed thus, Jesus Christ returned to the three disciples and found them sleeping. He said to them, "So you could not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation." Again, for the second time, He went away and prayed. And again He came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy, and they did not know what to answer Him.
So, leaving them again, He went away and prayed for the third time saying the same words. And there appeared to Him an angel from Heaven, strengthening Him. And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly, and His sweat became like great drops of blood falling from His brow to the ground.
And when He rose from prayer, He came to the disciples and said, "Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? It is enough; the hour has come; the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand."
While He was still speaking, Judas, the betrayer, came with a great crowd with lanterns, and torches, and weapons. It was a band of soldiers and some officers sent by the chief priests and Pharisees to seize Jesus Christ. Judas spoke with them, "The One I shall kiss is the man; seize Him."
He came up to Jesus at once and said, "Hail, Master!" And he kissed Him.
Jesus Christ said to Him, "Friend, why are you here? Would you betray the Son of man with a kiss?" These words of the Saviour were for Judas the last appeal to repentance.
Then, Jesus Christ knowing all that was to befall Him came forward to the throng and said to them, "Whom do you seek?"
From the crowd they answered, "Jesus of Nazareth."
The Saviour answered, "It is I."
From these words, the soldiers and officers drew back and fell to the ground. When they had recovered from fear and rose, they tried in confusion to seize the disciples of Christ.
The Saviour again said, "Whom do you seek?"
They said, "Jesus of Nazareth."
"I told you that I am He," answered the Saviour. "So, if you seek Me, let those men go."
So the band of soldiers and the officers seized and bound Jesus Christ. The apostles wanted to defend their Teacher. Peter having a sword drew it, and struck the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear.
But Jesus Christ said to Peter, "Put your sword into its sheath, for all who take the sword shall perish by the sword. Do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels? How then should the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so? Shall I not drink the cup (of suffering) which the Father has given Me (for the salvation of people)?"
Having said this, Jesus Christ touched the ear of Malchus, the wounded servant, healed him, and voluntarily gave Himself into the hands of His enemies.
In the crowd of hired soldiers, there were also chief priests, and captains of the Temple, and elders of the Jews. Jesus Christ turning to them said, "Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs? When I was with you day after day in the Temple, you did not lay hands on Me. But this is your hour and the power of darkness."
The soldiers, who had seized the Saviour, led Him to the high priest. Then, the apostles forsook the Saviour and fled in fear. Only two of them, John and Peter, followed Him at a distance.

Morning Prayer — Invite Jesus In!

Uninvited guests in the form of demonic intruders can wreck your home and your peace. So why not invite our God of love into your day the first thing as you awaken? Here is a sample prayer/declaration that will enable you to resist the devil and his attempts to ruin your day.
Good morning, Father. Good morning, Jesus. Good morning, Holy Spirit. Thank You for Your new mercies this morning. Thank You for loving me with all Your heart, mind, strength, and possessions. I choose to love You with all my heart, mind, strength, possessions, and my body. I choose to put You first in my day, Father Love, to put You first, Jesus, as My Shepherd to guide me, and You, Holy Spirit, to be my Teacher and Comforter today. In my prayers this morning I call for Your rain (you can pray in tongues if that gift has been activated in you). Thank You for the rain. I speak peace to my heart, mind, and brain. I thank You, Father, for removing all distractions. I open my heart to hear from You, Holy Spirit. I thank You for forgiving all my sins and for putting on me Jesus’ robe of righteousness and Your armor. I put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, and my feet are fitted with the preparation of the gospel of the Kingdom of peace. I take the shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God.

Prayer for Purpose

Father Love,
I ask forgiveness for allowing the false ways of this world to cloud my vision of You and what You want my vision and purpose to be. I want more of Jesus and His love in my life. Show me what my purpose is, and ignite in me a vision of how to achieve that purpose. My deepest desire is to be like You and to be a light to a generation that has lost its way. Thank You for the grace in Jesus to be that light. In Jesus’ name, amen

Prayer for Spiritual Preparation

Father God,
Thank You for Your nature of love that motivates You to form me in Your image so that I can become more like You (Gen. 1:26-27). We know the time is short and that Satan would like to stop me from being ready to be raptured up to Jesus, prepared to rule with Him on the Earth (Rev. 12:11-12; Eph. 5:15-16). I call for the mountain of fear, especially the fear of evil events beginning in a big way around 2012, to be cast into the sea, in Jesus’ name. Fill me with Your love that casts out fear (I John 4:18). You have said to seek Jesus while He may be found, before the night comes when no man can work (Isa. 55:6; John 9:4). “Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; and see if there be any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way” (Ps. 139:24). Show me where I need the grace or empowerment to change. I call out to Jesus for His help since I can do nothing without Him (John 15:5). I am the clay, and You are the Potter, so mold me in Your image and release me from the power of my iniquities (Isa. 64:7-8). Strengthen me so that I may “lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles me” (Heb. 12:1). Teach me to make statements with the royal “we,” so that I may be reminded that I can do all things through Jesus (and thus through You and the Holy Spirit, since You are One and live in and through me). It is His joy in me that strengthens me (Phil. 4:13; Neh. 8:10). Finish the work You started in me so that I may be sincere and blameless in spirit, soul, and body and be counted worthy to stand before the Son of man (Phil. 1:6,10; I Thes. 5:23; Luke 21:36). Your will be done in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Protection Prayers

[For daily protection, from Psalm 91]
My family and I dwell in the shelter of the Most High. We thank You, Father, for sending Your angels to guard us in all our ways. No evil shall befall us, and no plague shall come near our dwelling.
Advanced Protection Prayer (When going into areas where strong demonic strongholds exist, such as principalities)
I declare that because I am a Son/Daughter of my Father Love, I am covered and protected by Jesus' blood and the armor of God. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. This demonic stronghold is thus unable to affect me in any way, shape or form, in Jesus' name, Amen.
NOTE: When you know you will be traveling through demonic domes of darkness in areas of heavy witchcraft, and before Halloween especially, it is imperative to be in praise, speaking and/or singing out praises to Jesus.

Prayer for Love

Father Love,
Forgive me for not walking in the love You have put inside me, for not being patient, for being jealous, bragging, being arrogant, acting unbecomingly, seeking my own agenda, being easily provoked, taking into account wrongs suffered rather than forgiving, and for rejoicing in evil rather than righteousness. I forgive myself for not walking in the perfection of Your love, and I ask that You fill me with all the fullness of God, the fullness of Your love spread abroad in my heart by your Holy Spirit. Give me a realization of Your unconditional love for me, so that I may love myself, love You by obeying You, and love others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer for Blessing our Food

Note: We do not intend this prayer to be prayed in its entirety in every situation. When eating in restaurants where food may be questionable, some of the items in the prayer may apply. When accepting invitations at people’s homes that you do not know well, you may decide to pray some of these matters before you leave for the meal, or under your breath if the invitation comes impromptu. We have given you many words to choose from, so you can choose which parts of the prayer you may decide to pray over your food, varying it daily so as not to fall into vain repetitions (Mat. 6:7).
Father, we thank You for this food. We curse to death any agents of blight in this food to death. We call for the blood of Jesus to neutralize any poisons or toxins in the food. We thank You that You satisfy our years with good things, so that our youth is renewed like the eagle (Ps. 103:5). You have given us our daily bread as You promised (Mat. 6:11). We have eaten food without scarcity and have not lacked anything (Deut. 8:9). You have given us the best of the land to eat (Isa. 1:19). We thank You for Your faithful, covenant promise to bless our bread and our water and to remove sickness from our midst (Ex. 23:25). You have blessed us with honey, oil, milk of the flock, the fat of lambs, and with the finest of the wheat (Det. 32:13-14). You are faithful in Your promise to give us abundant prosperity and have assured us that we would not be ashamed in the times of evil but would be blessed with abundance in the time of famine (Ps. 37:11,19). You have given us bread and unpolluted, blessed water (Isa. 33:16). You have blessed us to eat our food to the full (Lev. 26:5). Thank You for providing all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Jesus (Phil. 4:9). You have given us all sufficiency in everything (II Cor. 9:8). We thank You for blessing this food You have so graciously granted us, restoring any nutrients that have been lost, and for blessing our digestion of the food and our covenant fellowship as we eat our food with joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer for Financial Overflow

Father Love,
We thank You for the grace You give us to pay our tithes faithfully so that You can rebuke the enemy who tries to devour our increase and so that we can see You open the windows of heaven to pour out upon us a bountiful blessing (Mal. 3:8-11). Show us if disobedience in some area is blocking the blessings of Your covenant with Abraham, a covenant of prosperity that we share (Gal. 3:29). We choose to come in harmony with Your economic system based on giving and the law of sowing and reaping (Gal. 6:7). We claim Your promise of power to receive wealth (Deut. 8:18), giving us clever ideas that can bless us and others financially. We choose not to fear bad financial news in our nation and world (Ps. 112:7), but rather to claim Your promise that “wealth and riches are in our house” (Ps. 112:3). You meet all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Jesus (Phil. 4:19), even blessing us with extra to be a blessing to others in these difficult times (II Cor. 9:8-11). In the name of Jesus, our Provider (Gen. 22:14). Amen.

Prayer for Life in Jesus

Father, show me the words and works of death that I have allowed in my life so that I may rescind those wrong words and by Jesus’ grace and power in me change those wrong ways. I want your ways of life. I want more of Jesus. Show me Your ways, Father, that I may walk with You in joy and peace all the days of my life. Change me so that I may be the light of the world You have called me to be. I reject the ways of death and choose life and blessings. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer for Forgiveness

Father, I ask You to grant me the grace of forgiveness. I receive that gift, since You are the Giver of every perfect gift. Now that I have received this gift in faith, I declare that I choose to forgive ____________ for the hurt they caused me. I choose to take that hurt from my heart [touching hands to your heart or chest area and extending hands downward in putting the hurt on Jesus' cross] and lay it down on the cross of Jesus. Thank You, Father, for this freedom. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Kingdom Prayer

Father,
Bring the King of Your Kingdom back soon. This world needs Jesus to stop the lies, the violence, the wars, and the hopelessness we see around us. Help me prepare to be a part of Jesus’ bride by giving all my darkness to Jesus in exchange for His light. Show me where I need to change so I can be more like You. Guide me in the truth so I can be set free from all that hinders me. Give me a heart to love You above all else. Show me how I can be a light of the Kingdom of God, shining Jesus’ light to give an example of love and some hope to those around me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer to End Financial Distress

Father Love,
We lay hands on our wallet (purse, credit cards, debit cards) and speak supernatural increase to our finances. We submit our finances to You. We choose to be thankful for what You have given us and to live within our means so that You can increase our means (Phil 4:11). We are sons and daughters of You, our Father of increase (Gen. 1:26-27). Isaac reaped a hundredfold in a time of famine (Gen. 26:1,12). We sow our tithes and offerings into the ministry/church that is feeding us, and because we sow with joy and not begrudgingly, we expect and claim one hundredfold blessings, at least one hundred times what we sow to be placed in our heavenly account. We expect all the blessings that You can imagine, which goes far beyond one hundred times our seed, and allows You to bless us in every area of our life. Our days of lack and fear of lack are over because we claim your covenant promises of prosperity in the covenant with Abraham, of whom we are children (Gal. 3:29). You have blessed us to be a blessing, so we can be givers in our overflow like You, the Father of lights and the Giver of every perfect gift (James 1:17). In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer for Conquering the Enemy Within

Father,
I know that without Jesus I can do nothing. I accept Jesus not only as my Savior but also as my Divine Master. I call on Jesus to heal all the wrong hardwiring of my brain that Satan has done, the memories, thoughts, and propensity to sin acquired from Adam and added to by my failings in life. While the real me is my spirit in which Jesus dwells in perfection, the power of sin within my soul, the flesh that brings me down so easily, is an enemy I cannot conquer without Jesus. I call on His grace or empowerment to overcome the power of sin within. You said that You would finish the work You started in me, and I hold You to that covenant promise. Thank You for making me a winner, an overcomer, more than a conqueror in Jesus. Thank You for changing me so I can bring You even more glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Sabbath Prayer

Remember that the Sabbath is the day of love, not religiosity and legalism.
Friday: Preparation Day for the Sabbath, shopping, cleaning (spiritually and physically), preparing our mind to give everything to Jesus, and preparing to pour ourselves into the Sabbath to meet with God. Prepare for singing, dancing, and find psalms of praise to speak out.
Friday evening before sunset: Cast all your burdens, cares, fears, and pains of the week onto Jesus. Forgive yourself and others. Make room for the Father; He is a God of exchange. As you give your cares to Jesus, since He took them on the cross, He will be able to fill you up with His love and joy. As the Sabbath begins, take communion, declaring the following items (some of which are taken from Psalm 24 and 25):
1.    Ask that the ancient doors and gates be opened so that the King of Glory, Jesus can come in to our heart and soul (Psalm 24).
2.    Ask to be taught the truth of righteousness and the ways of salvation.
3.    Ask to be led under the direction of Jesus.
4.    Declare we will wait (qavah) all day long (Ps. 25:5) for the revelation of Jesus in His Word and through the Holy Spirit. We choose to be in total unity and oneness. We wait and listen for revelation knowledge and the rhema word.
5.    We choose to walk in loving kindness, truth, patience, longsuffering, kindness, gentleness, wholeness, and oneness.
6.    Declare that we close the door to: _____ (bad habits, sicknesses, false gods) and we open the door to: ________ (the promises and covenants of God). When we claim a covenant and we claim something from God, we need to deny the negative and declare that this gate/door from Satan must close, and the requested blessing from God must open. We should be specific with our request.
7.    Declare, "Remember, O [Eternal], Your compassion and lovingkindnesses, For they have been from old" (Ps. 25:6).
8.    "Do not remember the sins of my youth [past]…" (Ps. 25:6). Remember to turn over your past to Jesus at the new moon (Isa. 66:23; Ps. 55:22).
9.    Call for the sins and errors of others to be cast into the sea of forgetfulness and forgive others and yourself (Micah 7:19).
10. Call for the doors of injustice to be shut for anyone who is beginning to know Jesus.
11. Call or prophesy the opening of these ancient doors and gates for mankind and shutting the gates of hell. Call all mankind and our families to come to Jesus and for the return of Jesus as King of Kings (“Your kingdom come"). "Send forth the King of Peace and your loving kindness, Father, that You may rule over all the earth forevermore."
12. We declare that we and our house are cleansed by the blood of Jesus, that we are vessels for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work. We flee from youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on Jesus from a pure heart. We refuse foolish and ignorant speculation. (2 Timothy 2:21-23)
13. Put protection around the Sabbath, your time with the Father, and your family.

Prayer for Victory over Sexual Sin

Father, I confess my sexual sin to you (I have looked at things I should not look at. I have lusted after the beauty and comeliness of those of the opposite – or same – sex. I have satisfied my sexual urges through self-gratification. I have not been content in the state in which I find myself, whether unmarried and thus without a sexual outlet, or married and not content with the mate you have given me. I have allowed impurity to bring guilt, shame, and self-condemnation. These sins have cut me off from an intimate relationship with You, and I seek Your help to get back to that intimacy, which is the basis of my sexual identity. I need that intimacy in order to be intimate with the person you chose or will choose for me.) I acknowledge my weakness in the sexual area. It seems that I look for comfort and fulfillment from sex rather than from You. A feeling of emptiness, hopelessness, and helplessness has driven me to seek Satan’s false comfort rather than Yours. I confess my fervent desire to be free at last and to overcome this sin. I speak this out loud, since I want it to be in my heart and will. I confess my need for Jesus, the Grace that enables me to overcome. I ask Your forgiveness, Father, for these specific sins I now confess, for rebelling against You and Your Word by committing these sins or indulging in these bad habits. I ask for Your grace to forgive myself, since I know that without this being spoken out in faith, I will repeat the sin. I choose to forgive myself, in Jesus’ name, and I lay down to Jesus all the self-condemnation, guilt, shame, and feeling of inferiority. I declare my identity in Jesus, that I am more than a conqueror, an overcomer. I speak this out so that I have authority to say no to sin. I choose to speak the royal we, since You, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit live in me. We shall overcome. I am in the hands of Jesus, who has already defeated every foe, every sin, and washed me clean in His blood so I can indeed speak of we rather than I. Father, we are helpless to control perversion’s hook and sting without Jesus. We call on Your mercy to be able to recognize, turn over, and have freedom from all perversions. We call on the blood of Jesus is against you, Satan, for we are washed clean by Jesus’ blood, and you therefore have no claim upon us. We thank You, Father, for leading us to the freedom in Jesus. We rejoice in the victory and give thanks for the freedom. If we do encounter setbacks, we will repeat this process until we walk in full victory. If we fall, we will rise in our confidence of Your love for us, and the light of Jesus will shine on any darkness. Thank You for giving us a way of escape from sexual sin. Thank You for the freedom by the blood of Jesus and His life in us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer for Release from Fear

Because prophetic events heating up in the world bring attacks of fear on many Christians, we are highlighting once again our prayer for release from fear.
“Father, I turn all my fears over to Jesus. Help me recognize when I am speaking fear or acting in fear, that I may stand against it and be of the mindset that I am clean by the blood of Jesus. I know all of Your Word is righteousness and right for my life and that I have no right to fear.
“I trust You, Father, to meet all my needs, to bring peace to my soul by Your lovingkindness and the words You have given me to say. As Your child, Father, I reject all fears and cowardly approaches that it encourages. I have all confidence in You that I am more than a conqueror. I am a complete victor over all things in Jesus. “Thank you for Your anointing in overcoming all fears. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Curse Release Prayer

Father God, I reject and break off in Jesus’ name all curses spoken against me and my family, including any authoritative curses, witchcraft curses, spells, hexes or incantations, as well as curses from all those who gather with Satanists and witches to curse Christians [Name the curses. They have volumes of curses, but the principal ones are sickness, death and seduction]. I forgive all those who have cursed me, releasing them to You for Your blessing and repentance. I forgive myself for having accepted these curses and I ask You to forgive me for any sins or offenses that may have caused people to curse me. I cancel all demonic assignments that have been issued against me. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I condemn every tongue that rises against me in judgment, curse, criticism, gossip, revenge, vengeance or accusation. This is my inheritance and right as your brother (sister) and servant, King Jesus, and my righteousness is from You, My Savior. Thank you for giving me discernment of curses in the future. I bind up all the demons and their agents [include control with his agents of cruelty and shame if an authoritative curse is involved] enforcing these curses in chains of confusion. I cut them off from all support. I take the sword of Jesus [lifting your right hand of authority] and I destroy [lowering arm in cutting motion for each item] all their weapons, armaments, and artillery and destroy their nets. I burn up their slime and command them to go back to the pit in Jesus’ name. I claim total restoration and Jesus’ healing of all damage done to my soul and body by these curses. I put the cross of Jesus between me, as well as those who have cursed me, and the law of sowing and reaping. Thank you, Father, for the freedom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Marriage Prayer of Blessing

Father Love,
We ask You to activate the wisdom of Jesus in us so that we can effectively see the defeat of the demonic forces coming against our marriage. Light arises in the darkness for the upright (Ps. 112:4). Jesus has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers which used to strike our marriage (Isa. 14:5-6). Jesus destroys the works of the twisted serpent and declares of our marriage, "A vineyard of wine, sing of it! I, [Jesus], am its keeper; I water it every moment [from the time you rise in the morning till you enter into restful sleep at night]…no one will damage it, I guard it night and day.” I have no wrath against you, and there is no guilt, shame or condemnation in Me (Isa. 27:2-4; Rom. 8:1). We declare this blessing upon our marriage: "The [Eternal] bless you, and keep you; the [Eternal] make His face to shine on you, and be gracious to you; the [Eternal] lift up His countenance on you, and grant you His [shelam and shalom, nothing missing, nothing broken in our marriage, intimacy with our Father Love, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, prosperity in our soul, body, and finances]” (Num. 6:24-26). We thank You that we both have Your grace to be patient, kind, loving, forgiving, and the empowerment to avoid being jealous, boastful, arrogant, or acting unbecomingly, seeking our own desires, being provoked, or taking into account a wrong suffered (I Cor. 13:4-5). We declare that love rules in our relationship, as we unite in our marriage covenant with Yashua. In Jesus' name, Amen
.

Prayer to Hear God

Father,
I ask forgiveness for not listening to You through Your voice, the voice of Jesus, or the voice of my Teacher, the Holy Spirit as Ishould have. I know that Jesus said His sheep hear His voice. I am one of Your sheep, so I claim as part of my covenant with You as a believer the grace to listen for and to the voice of God. I know that praying in the spirit, in tongues, helps one to hear better, so I ask for that gift You have made available to all who have accepted Jesus. I receive that gift. I choose to surrender my tongue and mouth to You, that I may speak words from the Holy Spirit addressed in intimacy and perfection to You, my Father Love. I thank You for this gift, and I choose to use it in drawing close to You and praying for others in love. Thank You for being able to hear You better. I expect to hear Your voice, and I choose to obey Your Word and what I hear from You, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer for Revelation of Hindrances

Father, I thank You that you sent Jesus to die for me to save me and to be beaten with many stripes so that I could be healed of all my diseases (Ps. 103:3). I realize that You are perfectly faithful to the covenants I have with You, and that since You are Love You want me healed completely. Part of my fight of faith is to trust You to show me where I may have fallen short of fulfilling my part of the covenant, where I am not in harmony with You and Your laws of love. Father, “…see if there by any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way” (Ps. 139:24). Thank You for this revelation. I look forward to making any change that is necessary and I rejoice in advance that I am healed, because You are Love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer for Healing of a Wounded Heart

Father Love,
Show me through your Holy Spirit where my heart has been wounded, cold, closed, or broken. Bring to my mind the instances where gossip, rejection, devaluating statements of comparison with others, the squashing of my dreams, and other offenses have caused my heart to be wounded. Father, I ask for Your grace of forgiveness to forgive those who caused my heart to be wounded, and to forgive myself for allowing their actions or statements to hurt me. I choose to lay down all the pains and hurts of my heart to Jesus, so that He can change my wounded heart to a heart of peace and joy so I can be a light for You, My Father of Lights. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer for Peace

Father,
Bring Jesus back quickly so peace can finally be established on the Earth. As for me, I ask for Your peace. I choose to be anxious for nothing, but to make my requests be known to You with thanksgiving. You have then promised me according to my covenant of peace with you to grant me the peace that passes all understanding. I receive Your peace. I choose to be still amid the hustle and bustle of life and the storms around me, and to know that You are God. You are Yahovah Shalom, the God of Peace. In the name of Yashua Shalom, Jesus, Amen.

Prayer for Faith

Father, I believe You. However, in areas where my faith has easily been shaken, I ask You to strengthen and increase my faith. Instill in me astrong knowledge of how much You love me and of my identity in Jesus so that faith can work as love works in me. Give me a zeal for all of Your Word, a love of the truth, a hope for the future based on Your Word, and patience to rely on my Rock of steadfastness, Jesus. Give me the grace to be especially steadfast in thanksgiving and praise so I can access the higher levels of faith. Grant me favor to be able to meet regularly with like-minded believers on Your holy day. Thank You for answering my prayer. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer to Be Needed

Father Love,
Thank you for Your love. My desire is to feel needed, loved, and respected by You and others. Grant me Your grace to sow the seeds of love in the lives of others so that I may receive a harvest of love and feel needed. Help me walk in the truth of Your Word. Grant me the grace of forgiveness to forgive quickly those who hurt me. Grant me a listening ear and a real concern for the pain of others. Make me a giver, servant, encourager, and peacemaker like You. Help me rejoice when others are blessed, and help me see the good in others and speak those good things of them. Give me confidence in the authority You have given me to set others free and the grace to always give You the glory, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer Against Pride

Father, Your love is pure, and Your motives are for our good. We ask forgiveness for walking in pride and letting this false strength and reliance on our flesh guide us, defend us, and sustain us. We turn over to Jesus this pride, its causes and effects, and all its inordinate desires. We release our false identity, pain it has caused, and most of all the losses it caused in blocking us from being able to come before You in truth, faith, and love. Father, we ask You to renew and create in us a clean heart, and to purge us of all pride that blocks us from being like Jesus. Help us to set our will on You, Father that Your will may be done on earth as it is in heaven. Help us defeat pride and all its roots by Your love. And Father, help us to be at one with You in Jesus. For this we pray and give thanks, in Jesus’ name. Amen

Prayer for Mercy and Grace

Father, I come before Your throne of grace in confidence to receive mercy for my shortcomings and grace to help in time of need. I ask for Your grace or empowerment to sow the mercy You have granted me into other people’s lives. I seek grace to forgive those who have hurt me badly, and I ask for Your grace to remember offenses I may have buried, hurts I need to recall so I can speak forgiveness and lay them down to Jesus. I ask for the grace to forgive quickly and lay the pain down to Jesus promptly and surely in order that no root of bitterness springs up to cause problems for myself and others. I ask for empowerment to bless and comfort others, grace to avoid complaining and gossip, grace to love You, myself, and others as myself, empowerment for miracles, and grace to stay steadfast in Jesus. In the name of Grace Himself, Jesus, amen.

Prayer for Breaking Witchcraft Curses

Because witches use blood sacrifices, communion must accompany this prayer. Take Jesus’ body to break the curse and as you take the blood of Jesus, seal all that has been claimed in the blood and put a blood shield against backlash and blacklash from the enemy.

Because the evil blood seal has affected mind, heart and will, have someone anoint you and pray for God’s seal to be upon you. The anointing prayer should include a request that you be able to walk with God, your will in line with His will. Note that hexes specifically target the physical condition.

Curses attack your character, emotions, and prosperity, but they often affect the body. Incantations attack your heart so that you cave into temptation. They invoke the spirit of seduction. Spells focus on controlling the will of people and governments.

“Father, we (or I) ask You to send the Holy Spirit to shed the light of God upon this situation where the witches have invoked the powers of darkness in our lives. We reject and break off these curses, spells, hexes, and/or incantations and we forgive those who have cursed us. We turn the instigators over to You, Father, and to Your authority. We ask you to bless them with full repentance.

“We declare Isaiah 54:17 in our righteousness: No weapon formed against us shall prosper. Every tongue that rises against us in judgment, curse, criticism, gossip, revenge, vengeance, accusation, we do now condemn. This is our inheritance, our right as brothers and sisters and servants of Jesus Christ, and our righteousness is from You, Lord Jesus, our Savior.

“We ask for discernment to be able in the future to know when we are under a witchcraft curse. (The second time you pray this prayer, simply give thanks for the discernment.) We bind up all the demons and their agents enforcing these curses in chains of confusion. We cut them off from all support, burn up their slime and command them to go back to the pit in Jesus’ name.

“We pray for the healing of the damage done to our mind, heart, will, brain and body by these curses. Jesus shed His blood for the breaking of witchcraft curses and for our healing from their effects, and we claim that healing now.
“Thank you, Father, for the release from these curses. In Jesus’ name, Amen”.

Prayer for Restoration of Trust

When trust is broken, how do you earn back that trust?
Sometimes this seems impossible. Even if a person has forgiven you for betraying them, they can take years to recover from the incident or maybe never. God has provided a way, however, to make the restoration of trust possible and in a shorter period of time.
First of all, we need to deal with the hurt and sorrow in our own heart. When you have blown it, committed a serious sin against another person, a wall is erected. As Proverbs says, a person deeply offended, and in this case seriously betrayed, is harder to be won than a city. A feeling of sorrow, grief and helplessness can fill our hearts in such situations.

We must lay our pain down to Jesus, and call for Him to start by healing our heart. We can declare this prayer, "I speak to my heart and call for healing by the stripes of Jesus." We then pray shalom upon the person injured, that he or she is healed by the stripes of Jesus, and that his or her heart will be opened again. We call on Jesus as Restorer.

It is important to use the appropriate verse of Scripture for each situation. Here are some powerful Scriptures you can speak over yourself and over the person you betrayed:

Isaiah 53:4 Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities, The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed.

Jesus "came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him" (John 1:11). They betrayed the One who came to save them, torturing Him with 39 stripes from a merciless whip that tore His flesh. All of us have sinned and thus caused those stripes to be inflicted upon Jesus. We can claim healing for ourselves and others by those stripes (I Pet. 2:24).

Psalm 80:3 says, "O God, restore us And cause Your face to shine upon us, and we will be saved."
Boaz and Ruth symbolize Jesus and His bride, the church, so we can claim restoration by quoting Ruth 4:14: "Blessed is the [Eternal] who has not left you without a redeemer today, and may his name become famous in Israel. 15 May he also be to you a restorer of life and a sustainer of your old age…"

Only God can restore a relationship broken by betrayal. All things are possible with Him.

Prayer of Release from Frustration

Father, I come before You to reject and break off frustration in Jesus’ name. I forgive myself for speaking the frustration into law in my life by my words. I forgive those who have provoked or added to my frustration. I take the sword of Jesus and destroy the box of frustration that has hemmed me in. I bind up the demons causing and enforcing these frustrations in chains of confusion, cut them off from all support, command them to take all their weapons and go back to the pit in Jesus’ name. I turn all the pain and frustration over to You, Jesus, at the cross. I thank You, Father, for the freedom from these frustrations. I pray blessings into my life (or into the life of another if praying for another). I put the cross between me and the law of sowing and reaping. I seal all this in the blood of Jesus and ask for the blood of Jesus to shield against any backlash or blacklash from Satan. (Be sure to seal all this by these last words in communion).

Prayer: Good Morning, Holy Spirit

Good Morning, Holy Spirit. Thank Your for being my Teacher, Comforter, and Encourager today. Lead me and guide me by Your light and truth to the holy place of my Father in heaven as I  walk in the light of Jesus all day. Open my eyes to behold wonderful truths in Your Word today. When circumstances come that could shake me, lift my head with the joy of Jesus. I choose to pray always and stay all day long in a spirit of thankfulness. Thank You for your power in me today and for the way you deal with me so gently and lovingly with me. Show me what You want me to do today, and who you want me to pray for and help in practical ways. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer of Release from “The Sinner’s Prayer”

Declaring that we are sinners and not saints is a dangerous curse that afflicts many. When we curse ourselves back into the kingdom of darkness, we open ourselves up to all that darkness has to offer, including sickness. If you have ever said this prayer, here is another prayer you need to say instead:
“Father, please forgive me for having cursed myself as a sinner. I forgive those who encouraged me to do this. I forgive myself for having spoken it. I bind up all the demons and their agents enforcing this curse in chains of confusion. I cut them off from all support. [Lifting your right arm] I take the sword of Jesus with my right hand of authority and I destroy [as you bring your arm down] all their weapons, artillery and nets. I burn up their slime and command them to go back to the pit in Jesus’ name. I rip off the sinner label from my forehead [with your right hand] in Jesus’ name. I declare that I am a saint – a child of the Kingdom of Light. Thank you Father, for the freedom from this curse. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

Prayer for Breaking Soul and Blood Ties

Father, I ask Your forgiveness for having lusted or longed after anyone (or having engaged in any sexual activity that caused blood to be released). I accept Your forgiveness and I forgive myself, in Jesus’ name. I hereby reject and break off all soul ties that I have made with others. I now reach out [act this out, reaching out with your hands extended, as if toward the person or persons involved] and take my soul back [with the corresponding gesture of your hands extended back towards your body] from those to whom my soul was attached and/or tied. I ask You to bring healing and oneness to my soul. I also release the souls of those who lusted after or desired me back to them [with the appropriate hand gestures] and I ask You to bring healing and oneness to their souls. Thank You, Father, in Jesus’ name.
The breaking of soul ties should be confirmed and sealed in communion. If blood ties are also involved, add the following, as you break the bread (body) of Jesus in communion, after which you seal it in Jesus’ blood:

Father, please forgive me for having engaged in illicit sexual activity with anyone [unless it was marital sex and you are now divorced]. I forgive myself [if pre-marital or extra-marital sex was involved] and I hereby reject and break off all blood ties to the person/persons involved. In Jesus’name, amen.

Prayer for Protection from Schemers

(Psalm 26 – Declaring our Stand with Jesus and His Protection)
Vindicate me, O righteous Judge, for I have walked in my integrity; and I have trusted with my whole heart in Jesus, and have not wavered.
1.    Examine me, most righteous God; try me, test my soul; look into my mind and my heart.
2.    For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, and I have walked with You in Your truth.
3.    I do not entertain nor sit with deceitful men.  Nor do I go about with those who are pretenders, false-hearted, worthless, or men of false holiness.
4.    I hate the assembly of evildoers, schemers and secret societies.  And I will not sit with the wicked, those who worship the Evil One and those who make incantations.
5.    I will wash my hands in innocence.  What I say and what I do will be pure in Your eyes.  And I will go about Your altar, lifting up the name of Jesus,
6.    That I may proclaim in praise and thanksgiving and give to all a testimony of Your miracles and purposes.
7.    O Jesus, I love the tabernacles of Your glory and the places where You send Your glory to dwell.
8.    Do not allow my soul to be taken away with sinners, nor my life to be blotted out in the bloodshed of men.
9.    Protect me from the hands of wicked men and their schemes, and from the lust for money that perverts truth for bribes.
10. But this I declare, I shall walk in my integrity that comes from obeying Your Word.  Redeem me and be gracious in favor to me,
11. So that my foot stands firm on a level place, and in the congregations of God I shall bless my Savior, Jesus.

Justice Prayer (Emergency Format)
Father Love, You have promised that You will “faithfully bring forth justice” (Isa. 42:3b). We call on You to remember Your covenants of love with us and we say, “Rise up, O Judge of the earth…For judgment will again be righteous…” (Ps. 94:2,15). We choose to forgive all our oppressors, giving our pain to Jesus, and we leave all vengeance to You (Heb. 10:30). “Vindicate [us]…and plead [our] case… deliver [us] from the deceitful and unjust man! …” (Ps. 43:1). You “will bring forth [our] righteousness as the light And your judgment as the noonday” (Ps. 37:6). No man will be able to stand before us (Deut. 11:25). You will save your anointed and will answer us in the day of trouble (Ps. 20:1,6). We praise You, Father, for the victory, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer of Thanks for Truth

Being thankful for the truth helps us stay steadfast and unswayed by our emotions. Charley West gave this prayer at the end of one of his truth-bringing radio programs.
Father, thank you for the truth of your Word; may those who need to hear it – that thirst and seek it -- receive it through this radio site. May it be a light to their path and an encouragement that despite what Satan wants to work for evil, Jesus has already made good. We receive Your love and grace that is sufficient in all things, and we walk in victory because of Your magnificent plan for mankind and because of the blood of Jesus that protects and provides for us in every area of our life.
We thank You for Your faithfulness to perform Your Word and that it will accomplish everything for which You have sent it. We receive it into our hearts and speak it out boldly with authority as your righteous sons and daughters on this Earth. And we thank You for Your discernment, wisdom and, understanding through it, now and forever, in Jesus’ mighty, holy name – Amen!

Prayer for a Mate

Father, You know our need for companionship and our need for the grace to overcome all handicaps and sins that could block a happy marriage. You brought Eve to Adam as a helpmeet or suitable counterpart to love and cherish so he would learn to deny himself and serve his wife as Jesus loves His church. You made Adam as a loving complement to Eve, to love and cherish her as Jesus does for His bride. It is written, “There is an appointed time for everything,” so I thank You for bringing me this blessing of a wife/husband at the appropriate time and not before. Thank You for making me whole in every way so I can be a blessing to my mate. It is also written, “An excellent wife is the crown of her husband,” and “It is not good for the man to be alone,” and “a prudent wife is from the Eternal”—a gift from You, our Father Love, the Giver of every perfect gift. And I know that You are not a respecter of persons, so these promises apply to any request for a mate, whatever their sex. Indeed, You provided Boaz for Ruth. Father, I choose to stay in thanksgiving for your loving gift of the best mate for me, and that You are preparing me to be the best husband/wife for the one You bring to me. You have said to seek Jesus and His righteousness first, and that all things would be added to us. Thank You for adding the joy of a covenant partner to share my life, an opportunity for me to learn to love and serve him/her with the love you have showered upon me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer: Father's Love

Father,
I can accept intellectually that You are Love, yet I need Your help to internalize this concept, since I have challenges in understanding that my physical father loved me. I call for Your spirit of forgiveness to forgive my physical father for not being the father he could have been to me, and I call for the grace to lay the pain down to Jesus on the cross. I ask You to give me an understanding in my heart and mind that I belong to something bigger than myself and that You truly love me with all your heart, mind, and being and want the very best for me. Thank You, Father. In Jesus' name, amen.

Prayer for the Grace to Lead

Father, we thank You for your Word of truth, Your never ending loving kindness and Your patient, unfailing integrity to provide us the wisdom to bring us out of darkness and into the glorious light of Your Kingdom.

Thank you for reminding us of who we were designed to be and thank You for implanting seeds of leadership within us at creation to rise up to be the Kings and Priests and lead all to the destiny you intended for us.

We receive all your empowerment to walk in dominion authority and serve the Kingdom with honor and to your glory and majesty – in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Prayers of Blessing for Children - Boy 11-14

We have had requests for prayers over children. Praying appropriate Bible verses over them is a powerful way to bless our children. This requires knowledge, however, of how to use them. For those more advanced in the Word, we have cited some useful parts of Scripture below. In the case of those who need more guidance in praying, we present some sample prayers for children of different ages. We will begin with a son between 11 and 14.

Our breakdown for these blessings is:
1. up to 6 years  (boys and for girls)
2. 6-10   years          ''          ''
3.11-14  years          "          "
4.15-18  years          "          "

The prayers need to be done separately as needs are different between boys and girls

Here is a sample blessing to speak over a 11-14 year old son.

Heavenly Father Agape (Love), thank You for the blessing of this son, __(child's name)__. Today we bless you with ears to hear what God is saying to you. We bless you with a heart full of love, and that you speak life out of the abundance of your heart. We thank our Father what no corrupt communication comes out of your mouth. Set your affections on Jesus and on things above, so that you overcome evil with good. We bless you with being wiser than your enemies, yet always walking in kindness. We ask Jesus to be a light unto your path, making it bright and clear. Receive this blessing today, my son (or use his name), and go in the favor of God, for we declare this in Jesus' name.  Amen

Prayer against Conspirators (from Psalm 31)

Father,
I choose to forgive all those, both foe and friend, who conspire to destroy me, who conspire against me, and who speak negatively about me. You hide me in the secret place of Your presence from the conspiracies of man. You keep me secretly in a shelter from the strife of cursing tongues. You have displayed Your loving kindness to me in a besieged place. Thank You for Your grace to forgive and bless my enemies. I choose to leave all vengeance in Your hands, for You are faithful to fully recompense the proud doer and even bring them to repentance. Make the schemes of the destroyer come to naught as Your good plans for me come to fruition. In Jesus name, Amen.

Prayer for Freedom from Deception

Father Love,
We take our place in the heavenlies with Jesus to bind the spirit of deception. He cannot influence us in any way, shape, or form, subject to Your will, in Jesus’ name. In these last days when Jesus warned us not to be misled by false leaders, including the Antichrist, the Beast, the False Prophet, and the False Christ, we claim Your promise in the Davidic covenant in Psalm 89:22: “The enemy will not deceive him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him.” Deliver us from deception. Reveal to us the truth that will make us free from all the deceptive schemes of the enemy (John 8:32). In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer against Wrong Prayers on Our Behalf

(Prayers Not according to God’s Will)

“Father, we hereby reject and nullify all prayers [and/or prophecies] that have been said on my behalf that are not according to Your will for my life or my family’s. We break off all the effects and plans of the enemy that were thus authorized.”

The following should be added if you know you are under attack from this kind of prayers (Communion is highly recommended):

“We cancel all assignments that demons have been given in relation to these prayers [and/or prophecies]. We choose to walk in Your will [and prophesied future for us], in Jesus’ name. We forgive all those who have issued prayers [and/or prophecies] that are not according to Your will, Father, and, subject to Your will, we put the cross between them and the law of sowing and reaping, in Jesus’ name.

“Thank You, Father, for this freedom, in Jesus’ name. Amen and Amen.”

Prayer against Snoring

We must forgive our mates for snoring, but a way exists to stop this annoying but involuntary practice. Snoring is a generational curse against the heart. So the curse needs to be broken off in communion as a generational curse, forgiving those who brought on the curse and declaring that the curse stops at your generation. The following prayer of a wife whose husband snores can also be helpful. Taking communion together before going to bed would also help.
Father, I come before you in my heavenly place, covered by the blood of Jesus. I forgive my husband for snoring. I bind all demons affecting him, according to your will, in chains of confusion, cut them off from all support, cancel all demonic assignments and send the demons back to the pit with weapons destroyed, in Jesus’ name. We pray in peace, love, shalom, and a blessed sleep, as You, Jesus, are King over this house. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer of Praise during Times of Tribulation

Father, You have given us all the spiritual blessings in the heavenly places. We reverence you, God, and stand in awe of Your great plan for mankind. Jesus, the Creator, King of all kings, our Rock, our salvation, our high tower of strength, thank You for all that You have done for us and all that You are doing before we even ask. Thank you for Your comfort, Your encouragement, Your healing, Your wisdom, discernment, and understanding of Your Word. You knew us before we were born, and You died for our sins long before we were born. You died and rose again; You defeated Satan, and he is Your footstool. We are victorious under the Banner of Yahovah Nissi. We can have joy and peace in the midst of trouble. Our might is in you, Jesus, and in Your authority. Our righteousness is in You, not of ourselves. We are free from condemnation, guilt, and shame. We rejoice for all that You have done for us, and we rejoice for all You are going to do in our life and throughout our lives. Thank You for the restoration. Thank You for leading us, our Shepherd. We consider it all joy when we encounter trials, knowing that the testing of our faith produces endurance that has a perfect result, so that we may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. Father Love, You give wisdom to all generously and without reproach. You deserve all honor, praise, majesty, and glory forever. We live a victorious life and favor goes before us because of Jesus in us. We thank You for Your provision and strength during these times of tribulation as You prepare us to be raptured up to heaven out of danger and in Your arms of love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer Against Hopelessness
Father, thank You that Jesus is my Provider, Sustainer, and Deliverer from the pressures of this blanket of hopelessness. Thank You, Father, that as a tither, I have my needs met because of Your promises. Thank You that I have increase because of the offerings that I have given joyfully. Thank you, Father, for the hand of Jesus that walks me through every shadow of death and for knowing that He never leaves me nor forsakes me in the blanket of hopelessness."

Prayers of Warfare for the Persecuted

Father, we know Your heart is grieved to see the cruel persecution against Your people around the world. You are especially grieved to see Christians die that did not have to die, where it was not Your perfect will. We ask that You grant a knowledge and understanding of their identity in Jesus to those believers. We thank You for teaching them Your Word through Your Holy Spirit, so they can declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, that no one will lift his hand against the anointed of God, and that they will be delivered from the bloodshed of man. For those few to whom You have given the anointing of martyr, we ask that You grant them to be strong and of good courage, full of faith and the words to say in that hour so as to be an example to those who kill them. We pray that both groups will be granted the spirit and grace of forgiveness, and that they would learn to pray for their enemies so that they may be like You, their Father in heaven. We pray that You give them the strength You gave to Jesus, who, when faced with religious bigots who abused Him and prepared to murder Him, said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” We pray for kings and rulers, so that the believers worldwide may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness, peace, and dignity, and so that this gospel of the Kingdom of Love may be preached among all nations and bring about the prompt return of Jesus and a subsequent end of all persecution.

Prayer for Release from Religiosity and Tradition

Father Love,
Show me where I have been hiding in tradition and religiosity. Show me where I have accepted worldly traditions without testing them according to Your Word. Show me where I have allowed lifeless religious rules to guide me, rather than Your love that enables me to obey by Your grace the laws of love that lead to abundant, eternal life. Show me where religiosity has deprived me of a vital, intimate relationship with You. Deliver me from tradition and religiosity, so that I may truly know and love You with all my heart, soul, and strength. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Identity in the Crucifixion Prayer

Father, God of the covenant with men. How great and awesome are Your ways! You never fail nor do You slumber. All peace and blessings come from You. “We are your children in Jesus Christ, and we want Your help in understanding and claiming our crucifixion so that we may walk fully in our new identity as Your children. “We surrender our past, our pain, our sins, our old identity in Adam, our ways of thinking, our old ways of speaking and our will to the cross. “We want the life that Jesus gives us to be fully shown, fully understood and fully accepted in us. Let Your glory shine in us and on us, Father. We want Your plans for our life to be fully manifested so the world will come to know You and love You. “You are our prosperity and our peace. “We pray that all Glory, Honor and Power be Yours forever and ever. And thank You for all that You have given us in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer for Release from Ignorance

Father Love,
You have said that Your people have been destroyed for lack of knowledge, and in Hosea 4:6 you put the responsibility on the pastors who have taught us from traditions of men and doctrines of demons. I no longer want to live in ignorance. Proverbs 2:3-5 says: “If you cry for discernment, Lift your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will discern the [reverence] of the [Eternal] And discover the knowledge of God. I cry out to You to teach me that revealed knowledge through Your Word as guided by the Holy Spirit as He leads me into all truth (John 16:13). You have stored up sound wisdom and knowledge for me, since I am upright in Jesus (Prov. 2:6-7). “Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being, And in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom” (Ps. 51:6). I thank you for Your gifts of knowledge, wisdom, discernment, and understanding. I thank You that they are in me because Jesus is in me, and You are activating these gifts so that I can be free and a blessing to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Rapture Prayer (Declaration)

Jesus, I declare that I answer Your call as given in the Hebrew words of Isaiah 26:20-21:
“My beloved brothers, allow Me to bring you out of trouble and tribulation so that you vanish from the eyes of the world and from Satan. Answer My call to be lifted up to heaven, to the assembly of the believers, in the rooms made especially for you. Shut off the calls of Satan and the pressures of the world for a little while so that I may hide you – body, soul and spirit – from all evil, disaster, death or defeat. Allow indignation and the evil one their last vain efforts so that I will see you. Answer Me when I send for you to come into safety – a safety that is beyond time, beyond space, beyond evil’s ability to touch you ever again and beyond the effects of My punishment that will come upon the earth.”
Thank You, Jesus, for Your call of love. I answer without hesitation, with joy and appreciation.

Prayers for Release from Falseness

Father, we thank You for letting us recognize the areas of falseness in our lives. We confess that our acceptance and participation in the falseness was wrong. We confess all the areas of falseness in our lives (Name all the areas of falseness.) We reject the acceptance and past involvement in falseness we have had in our lives. We repent for this falseness we have harbored and even for rejecting Your past warnings for being involved with them. We ask for Your hand, Father, upon our lives to bring the changes necessary in rejecting those areas of falseness we can remember now and all the areas the Holy Spirit may bring to remembrance from time to time. When we see these areas of falseness, we choose to reject them in favor of Your Word. We call for an infusion of Your truth in our mind and heart so that the damage that falseness causes can be healed and that Your Word can be alive in us. We ask that Jesus be Divine Master of our lives. We surrender our old brain patterns to Him for whatever adjustment is necessary in getting these false programs out of our lives. We praise You, Father, for the freedom from the past falseness. We reject all the demons that have created this falseness and all their hold over our lives. We bind them up in chains of confusion, cut them off from all support and send them back to the pit, in Jesus’ name. Thank You, Father, for this freedom. In Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen.

Prayer for Coming to Terms with Sin

Father, your ways are awesome. Your truths are beauties within beauties and Your patient love is beyond our abilities to measure. Therefore, Father, we come before You to confess and acknowledge our sins. Where we have had hidden sins, open our eyes to see them, to acknowledge them, confess them, and let them go to Jesus at the cross.

Where we have presumptuous sins, reveal them to us so that we can acknowledge them and acknowledge the cause and effect of them and confess them to You.

You are always right in Your judgments and we submit to You, Father, for the correction of presumptuous sins. We turn them over to the cross.

Where we have sins of omissions, Father, open our eyes to these shortcomings. In Your grace, we choose to no longer omit doing what is right in Your sight, what is right by Your Word.

And Father, where false doctrine or doctrines of demons have filled our minds with misconceptions, misperceptions of You, of Jesus, of the Holy Spirit, of Your plans for us, or of our understanding of Your Word that You have written as our guide, open our minds to be open to Your truth.

Give us a willing heart to present, to acknowledge and to confess these truths. May Your Word be true and every man a liar.

And Father, where there are sins of commission, we confess these errors and ask that we be forgiven for them, that we be washed in the blood and that the cross be put between us and the law of sowing and reaping for all these sins.

We thank You, Father, for Jesus, the cross and for Your forgiveness for these sins. We are blessed in Your mercy. Thank You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer of Celebration

Father, I ask forgiveness for complaining in a negative attitude of ungratefulness rather than living in a spirit of celebration. I forgive myself and I ask for Your grace of thankfulness and the ability to praise and worship you as a way of life. I confess that being thankful in every circumstance has been a problem for me, and your Word commands this, so I ask Your grace to have this ability. I ask for Your grace to be able to praise in the dance in all circumstances, using the powerful spiritual warfare of praise. I am looking forward to my life being transformed as I live in a constant state of celebration.

Prayer for Raising the Dead

Thank You, Father, that You hear my voice. I bring before you __________, who has fallen asleep too soon because of a scheme of Satan. I declare Satan's claim upon _________ broken, his/her sins forgiven, and that he/she is washed clean by the blood of Jesus. Therefore, ________, you shall live and not die, for no weapon formed against you shall prosper. The breath of life from our living God be upon you. Rise and be healed. Come forth to enjoy the abundance of life in Jesus. He shall be your strength, joy, and purpose as you stand as a witness to all who see you. Thank You, Father, for ________'s life, in Jesus' name.

Prayer for Freedom from Mind Games

Father, You have made my spirit perfect in Jesus. However, You have said that the heart is deceitful, so I ask You to show me any wicked, deceitful way in my heart, mind, and will so I can confess these to You and be free. Open my eyes to mind games Satan tries to play on me and the mind games I play on myself and others. You seek truth in the heart and mind, and I ask You to reveal to me the truth about myself, how I have submitted to the deceptive words and practices of the enemy and to self-deception and lying to myself and You. Renew my mind and heart by Your Spirit so that I can walk in step withJesus. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer of Release Before Death

When our race has been won and our body is worn out, God has given us a special celebration where we yield our spirit up as a final gift to God. It is the prayer of release and thanksgiving for our life - for winners in Jesus. As Jesus laid down His life and said that His race was finished, so we can lay down our lives when we choose to at the end of our course. Our timing may or may not be the perfect will of God, since He can enable us to life to be 120. Nevertheless, the state of things created by Satan in this world have made it so most people, including the believers, have hindrances to realizing the perfect will of God in regards to a long, healthy and vibrant life to a truly old age. We can say this simple prayer aloud in the hearing of our parents or grandparents if they are believers and have expressed their desire to end their course and be with Jesus in heaven. This is the godly alternative to assisted suicide or euthanasia.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for [Name]. We thank you for his/her life. As Jesus said, “It is finished.” We now release him/her into rest and peace and surrender his/her soul into the hands of Jesus. Amen

Prayer for End-Time Protection

Here is a prayer (taken from passages from Isaiah and Jeremiah) for the protection of all people God is calling, all that are currently following Him and their families.

We thank You, Father Love, for Your everlasting mercy and Your truth that endures to all generations. We come to praise you and thank You for giving us Jesus. Thank You for sending Him to be the sacrifice that undoes all the works of the devil. Heavenly Father Love, we come before You, washed in the blood of Jesus, to unite all Your believers in heartfelt agreement to pray for the protection of each other, all of our families, and all those You are calling in this end time, from the activities of the
nephilim and the humanoid watchers.

We come before You to acknowledge our iniquity and that we have transgressed against You. We have scattered our charms to alien deities under every green tree, and we have not obeyed Your voice.  Indeed we come to You, because You are the Loving God of Israel. You said, “I will deliver you from the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you from the grip of the terrible.” We thank You for your mercies in healing our backslidings and helping us to mend our ways. Do not abhor us for Your name’s sake; do not disgrace the throne of Your glory. Remember, do not break Your covenant with us. Those who wait for You shall not be ashamed. Father you have instructed us to dispossess nations greater and mightier than us; a people great and tall, the descendants of the Anakim, whom we know. You will destroy them and bring them down before us; so You shall drive them out and destroy them quickly. We also understand that it is because of their wickedness that You do this; it is not because of our righteousness or uprightness. You have said: “Even the captives of the mighty (men) shall be taken away, And the prey of the terrible (
nephilim) is delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children.” The blood of Jesus is against you, Satan.

Yours, Eternal Father of love, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Yours is the dominion, the power, and the glory forever and ever. Amen

Prayer for the Kingdom to Come

Father, You are Love, and You see all the evil in this world, evil that is growing at a pace we have never seen before. Governments and institutions lie to us. Our society and our media are based on lies, coverups, and terrible betrayals. Violence is erupting as never before. Millions of children go to bed with no food in their stomachs, and drought is increasing the famine in those affected areas. Our society has amply demonstrated its love for sin rather than You. As Isaiah prophesied, truth is lacking, and he who turns aside from evil makes himself a prey. Bring your Kingdom quickly to this earth, where violence will not be heard again in our land, or devastation and destruction within our borders, and the days of our mourning for the evil in this world will end. Bring Jesus to stop this insanity and bring in His Kingdom to establish peace, truth, justice, joy, and the ways of love that will transform this planet so that Your will to be done on this earth. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer of Forgiveness for Blocking Another’s Anointing

The Biblical concept of anointing is multifaceted.  It is the enabling power and grace of the Holy Spirit to perform the job God has called us to do.  That calling or vocation or activity is also termed our anointing.  When we block others from walking in their anointing, we disqualify ourselves from receiving God’s blessings.

“Father, I am sorry I have judged another.  I rejected their anointing because I was caught up in the flesh, trying to get my needs, desires and expectations fulfilled by a person or a group – not by Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.  I took on the spirits of intolerance, anxiety, anger, betrayal, resentment, blockage, denial and rejection so that my will could be done in their life and not Your will.  My prayers became full of false love and witchcraft in my attempts to control, manipulate and destroy another person’s free will.  I became full of rottenness, fatigue, coldness, stress, illness and confusion, which have ruled my day because of my error.  I have let pride and unforgiveness bring in the tormentors instead of acknowledging my sins before now.  I see how my curses and false prayers have destroyed my brother in Jesus.  Help me be reconciled to You and to him/her.  I hereby rescind, reject and break off all curses that I have placed upon anyone and I repent of and revoke any false prayers I have said over anyone.  I bind all demons involved in these curses in chains of confusion and send them back to the pit in Jesus’ name.  Thank You, Father, for Your love, healing and forgiveness.  May all power, glory and honor be Yours forever and ever.  It is in Your name, Father, that I pray blessings on all I have cursed.  Let them walk fully in Your love, peace, joy, anointing and Your will for their life.  I thank you in Jesus’ name.  Amen.”

Prayer for Release from Poisons

Heavenly Father, we repent and we ask You to forgive us for partaking in the sins of our ancestors that came about by Adam and Eve eating the fruit and thus giving Satan and his demons legal right to manifest and be worshiped. Also forgive us for partaking in the sins of Cain and thus living on this earth where Satan has had full legal right to alter every plant and animal DNA, to mutate and evolve new kinds.

We ask for the spirit of forgiveness to forgive ourselves and our ancestors all the way back to Adam and Eve for opening the door to Satan and his demonic destruction. We reject all attacks of cancer, all forms of nerve disease, immune diseases, digestive problems, and any deformities of our offspring. We reject all the disease that were brought in hostile to man. We reject all viruses that have mutated through animals and birds and back to mankind. We reject all sexual sin that would bind our wills to Satan. We reject all forms of eroticism in using plant musk and pheromones that incite the opposite sex to lust. We reject all curses of failure, futility, and forfeiture introduced by Cain’s sins. We ask forgiveness for wishing anyone dead, and we forgive our ancestors for bringing this generational curse upon us and our families. We reject all curses of being an eighth day worshiper of strange gods.  We bind up the demons of death, disease, lust, perversion, failure, futility, forfeiture, poverty, loss, lack, murder, and all other demons that have attacked us in chains of confusion, declaring that their assignments are cancelled, and they are sent back to the pit. We declare that all manner of blight is bound in chains of confusion; all agents of blight are cursed to death. All poisons, toxins, and residues are neutralized. We remove all weapons, armaments, artillery, traps, snares, and hooks from us, smash them and send them to the pit, to burn.

All wounds are bound up, washed and cleansed in the Blood of Jesus. We thank You, heavenly Father, that by the stripes of Jesus we are healed and cleansed. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
